Morningmedley is a development framework designed for creating larger and more complex WordPress applications.

Introduction​

WordPress is an excellent platform for content creation and quickly establishing a simple website.

However, larger WordPress applications tend to mutate, which often leads to lengthy and confusing functions.php files and technical debt.

Morningmedley addresses this issue by implementing a structured framework for such applications. This ensures that each component has its designated place, allowing projects to remain organized even as they expand.

Additionally, Morningmedley aims to enhance the usability of certain WordPress elements and introduce essential features.

But why the name "Medley"?​

Well, a medley is a musical composition created by combining parts from various songs.

In the same way Morningmedley is software package made up of a bunch of other software packages.

Similarly, Morningmedley is a software package composed of multiple other software packages. The musical theme of a medley aptly represents a solution installed through Composer, utilizing Symfony, and tailored for WordPress—where releases are named after jazz musicians.
